We are awarding $750 to a student every semester. All you have to do is show us how financial literacy has made a difference in your life.
Today we’re happy to announce the winner of our Loans Canada Financial Literacy Scholarship for Fall 2021. Continuing to help Canadian students meet both their educational and financial goals, through our scholarship, is a project the entire Loans Canada team is really proud of.
We couldn’t be more excited to announce that the winner of our Fall 2021 Financial Literacy Scholarship is Kaiden Phillip. Kaiden studies Computer Engineering at Humber College.
From an early age, I was always curious about finances however, I never had the motive to learn till high school. My parents challenged me to raise money for school, which lead me turning a hobby into a side hustle. Turning my passion for sneakers into a side business helped me develop crucial financial skills I couldn’t have learned in a classroom. The real-life lessons of patience and discipline are currently helping me budget my finances through my first year of computer engineering. Not only will financial literacy help me throughout college, but it will follow me throughout my career and every finical goal I set.
We are now accepting applications for the next round of our scholarship, qualified students can apply by clicking the button below.
