How To Earn Tim Rewards Points?
There are three different ways you can earn Tim rewards:
Via The App
All you have to do is download the Tim Hortons app, which is available on the Apple store and Google Play. Simply register your account with your email and start scanning your Tims card with your purchases to earn points.
You’ll get 10 points per dollar spent on eligible purchases. There is a minimum spend requirement of $0.10.
Physical Card
If you prefer to go old-school, you can pick up a Tim Hortons card the next time you visit a location. You can then use the app or website to register the card. Once you have the card or the app, you can earn points.
Tims Credit Card
Tim Hortons has recently introduced the Tim Credit Card. You can now earn Tims rewards points on everyday purchases including groceries and gas. You can earn up to 15 points per dollar spent, 5 points more than the regular points card.
Consumers who can’t qualify for the Tims Credit Card due to bad or no credit can opt for the Secured Tims Credit Card.

How To Redeem Your Tim Horton Rewards Points?
To redeem your Tim Hortons Rewards Points, set a Reward Level either online or in the app. The Reward Levels can be seen in the table above.
When you make a purchase that includes an item from your chosen Reward Level, the rewards are automatically redeemed to pay for that item.
What If You Don’t Want To Use Your Points?
If you would like to accumulate your points (don’t forget that they expire after 12 months), select “Bank my Points” in-app online. This way your points will not be automatically redeemed when you make a purchase in-store.
Additional Tim Hortons Rewards Benefits
Tim Hortons offers extra features for those using the rewards system, aiming to incentivize purchases and keep customers happy.
Games And Contests
When you use the app (or access your account on the website) you can get weekly offers and access to games and online contests. For example, the Roll Up To Win contest and NHL Hockey Challenge.
Exclusive Offers
The regular rewards give you a chance to redeem food and drink, but the exclusive offers are curated specifically for you. The app can track your purchases and use this information to curate promotions directly to you. To qualify, you need to make an eligible purchase on the card and the exclusive offers are usually time-sensitive.
Birthday Special
To access your birthday offer, register your birth date in the app at least seven days before your birthday. Activate your birthday offer in your app and then claim it at your local Tim Hortons.
