Many credit card providers offer cards that can earn points that can be used towards travel. TD is one such provider. It has several cards, known as TD Travel Rewards cards. The points these cards earn can be used on Expedia For TD, which is a travel rewards site open only to TD Travel Rewards cardholders.

What Is Expedia For TD?

Expedia For TD is similar to the regular Expedia website, but it’s only available to TD Travel Rewards cardholders. It is a co-branded website that allows specific TD credit cardholders access to Expedia’s vast catalogue and booking flexibility. Moreover, you can earn more TD Points with your TD Travel Rewards card on Expedia For TD than you can anywhere else.

What Can Be Booked, What Can You Redeem Your Points For?

With Expedia For TD, you can redeem your TD Points and spend them on rewards such as:

  • Flights
  • Hotels
  • Car rentals
  • All-inclusive vacation packages
  • Cruises
  • Train Rides
  • Tourist attractions and experiences ( i.e: guided tour buses, museums)

In short, anything you find on the regular Expedia website is available to you on the Expedia For TD website. The Expedia For TD is simply a program that allows you to redeem your TD points at a greater value. So, no matter what type of trip you’re planning, you can pay for it with your TD points.

How to Redeem Your TD Points?

In order to redeem your TD points on Expedia For TD, you’ll need to first register your credit card account here. Once registered, you’ll be able to access Expedia For TD where you can search trips and pay with your points.

When paying, you have the option of choosing any combination of points and cash. However, there are some rules to how you redeem points

  • If you make a travel purchase through your card on Expedia For TD, you must redeem your points in 200-point increments.
  • If you make a travel purchase through your card outside of Expedia For TD, you may redeem your points in 200-250 point increments (check your TD cardholder agreement to see what’s your minimum requirement)

Expedia For TD Price Matching

If you find a deal that you’re unsure about but don’t want to miss out on, you can count on Expedia For TD’s price matching guarantee. With this, you’ll be refunded the difference if you find a cheaper flight or hotel package within 24 hours of booking it. Similarly, if you find a cheaper hotel within 48 hours of booking, you’ll be refunded the difference as well.

It’s important to note that this does not include deals like all-inclusive vacation and cruise packages.
